Deep Dive - Why Call Tracking Software is Critical To Measuring Campaign Success
The emphasis over the last 2-3 years by healthcare providers has been on increasing online appointments, a majority of appointments are still booked over the phone. According to Kyruus, more than 80% of appointments are still booked over the phone. This is a significant percentage especially when attempting to measure the success or failure of a marketing campaign.
By using call tracking software, like Call Tracking Metrics or Call Rail, a healthcare marketer can properly attribute appointments and revenue to the correct source and would have the data to make a decision about how to manage the campaign going forward. Many campaigns have been stopped prematurely due to only counting online conversions and not accounting for the large volume of phone calls that the campaign may have produced. Factoring in phone calls will in many cases reduce the cost per conversion by more than 50%.
Different tracking phone numbers can be used for various parts of a multichannel marketing campaign to help determine which elements are the most successful at increasing new patients. The more granular that you are with tracking the smallest elements of a campaign, the better positioned you are to make data-driven decisions and move your campaigns forward in the right way.
